JobText Lead Alerts: SMS opt-in

JobText (a brand of JS Films LLC) puts an AI chat assistant on a home-service business's website. When a website visitor leaves a service request, JobText sends the lead to the business owner. Leads always go by email. Text-message alerts are an optional extra that the owner can choose to turn on.

Texting is optional

Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of using JobText, starting the free test drive, or making any purchase.
The opt-in checkbox is unchecked by default. Owners who leave it unchecked can use every part of JobText and get every lead by email.
The mobile number field only appears, and is only required, after the owner checks the box.
Only business owners who opt in get texts. We never text the homeowners or other visitors who chat with the assistant, and we don't send marketing texts.
Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not shared or sold to third parties for marketing.

Where owners opt in

Each business owner sets up JobText on their own setup page at app.jobtext.co/setup/<their-business>. Step 1 of that page looks exactly like this (try the checkbox; this copy doesn't submit anything):

Messages owners receive

Opt-in confirmation: "JobText: You're signed up for lead alert texts for <Business>. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."
Lead alert (example): "JobText: New lead for Summit Ridge Roofing. Maria Lopez, (555) 201-4433, 412 Oak St. Roof leak after storm, urgent. Reply STOP to opt out."
HELP reply: "JobText lead alerts: help at [email protected] or (323) 761-0085. Reply STOP to opt out."
STOP: replying STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, STOPALL) ends all texts. Owners can also remove their number on their setup page.
